I have a Masters Degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology from AUT University, Auckland. I have worked in mental health as a counselling psychologist, working with individualsfamilies and running groups.
I am registered within the Counselling Psychology scope of practice with the New Zealand Psychologists Board. I am also a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society and the Institute of Counselling Psychology.

I am experienced in working with clients who are living through any of the following: depressionanxiety and worry, high levels of stresslow self-esteem, all types of trauma and abuse, weight management issues, life transitionsrelationship difficultiesjob difficultiesanger problems and sleep problems. I work using a range of therapeutic treatment approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR and Internal Family Systems. When we meet we will discuss which treatment approach works best for you. I am passionate about supporting the uniqueness of each client. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused and goal-oriented. Where appropriate, I use mindfulness and relaxation in client sessions, and find these to be valuable tools, which enable clients to deal more positively with their life issues.
