I am experienced in working with clients who are living through any of the following: depression, anxiety and worry, high levels of stress, low self-esteem, all types of trauma and abuse, weight management issues, life transitions, relationship difficulties, job difficulties, anger problems and sleep problems. I work using a range of therapeutic treatment approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR and Internal Family Systems. When we meet we will discuss which treatment approach works best for you. I am passionate about supporting the uniqueness of each client. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused and goal-oriented. Where appropriate, I use mindfulness and relaxation in client sessions, and find these to be valuable tools, which enable clients to deal more positively with their life issues.
