Do you put things off? Do you tell yourself you’ll go for a walk tomorrow, not today? Do you get sick of how you procrastinate?

Please try the five minute rule. Set your timer and go for a five minute walk. Chances are, you’ll enjoy it so much you’ll actually walk for longer. But the beauty of the five minute rule is you don’t have to go for longer. You only have to do five minutes.

“That’s not going to work!” you may say. But chances are it will. Our brains respond to messages for change, even if the message only lasts for five minutes. The message just needs to be regular and consistent.

You can use the five minute rule to meditate, do yoga, plan healthy meals, tidy the kitchen bench—the list goes on and on.

Give it a try and if you like it, share this message.
